Sci-Fi Comic Cover Illustration

Here's another assignment from my Comic book Development Theory Course, the assignment was to develop a Sci-Fi comic cover that features 3 characters (2 being humanoid and 1 being an Alien of some kind), the cover also had to have a spaceship, the characters on a planet and a title at the top margin of the page.

First I did thumbnail sketches before moving onto the two sketches I liked the most, developing them further and then choosing one to make for the final illustration.
